The 2012 Wisconsin Open
March Madness and Golden Tee, What a Weekend it Will Be

There are very few things that go better together that Golden Tee and March Madness.

In fact, this combination – with perhaps an adult beverage or two – would match up against just about any sort of weekend combination you can think. If either or both of these things interest you, then you’re probably going to want to attend the 5th annual Wisconsin Open.

We’ve had the privilege of attending this event in the past, and we can’t say enough about it. It’s well run, the timing with the tournament adds a fantastic element, and it’s in Wisconsin so you know the food is going to be unhealthy greatness.

This year’s Wisconsin Open will take place on March 23rd through the 25th at Sussex Bowl and Sports Bar in Sussex.

Festivites will get underway on Friday night with either a CTTP or scotch doubles tournament. Whatever they decide to run, entry will be cheap and there will also be other games available to practice on.

On Saturday, the qualifier for the main tournament will take place, and it will be anywhere from 3 to 5 courses depending on the amount of players participating. There will be one round of match play on Saturday evening, and then the tournament will conclude on Sunday with a champion.

March Madness will be on throughout this time, and you’ll have plenty to do even if you’re bracket is busted by then. Another nice element: entry into this event is only $60, which means this would be a great time to test out your skills if you’ve never played in a live event. We’ll be there once again, and we hope to see you all there.
