Club Lucky’s monster Golden Tee tournament has come and gone, and what a weekend it was for some of the game’s biggest stars. Up for grabs was a massive prize pool, including a $9,000 first place prize.
The TOC IV took place at the Kansas City Expo Center this past weekend, and players from around the country flew in to test their luck (and more specifically, skill) on Golden Tee 2013.
With the update still very fresh, this provided an intriguing test. Who was taking to the new courses more quickly than others? We found out, and some very familiar names put forth some performances we’re used to seeing.
When the dust finally settled, the finals at Club Lucky’s TOC featured a rematch of the finals we saw the 2008 Golden Tee World Championship, although the results shifted this time around.
Minnesota’s Chris Thorbrogger took down Ohio pro Andy Haas to win the top prize and take home 1st place in the TOC. Thor netted $9,000 for the win while Haas took home $6,000. Houston’s Mark Stenmark took home third ($4,000) while Missouri trackballer Evan Gossett finished fourth ($2,750).
Although Stenmark came up short of the title, he did manage the shot of the weekend to close out his qualifying games. Not bad at all, I'd say.
Full results and payouts from the tournament are listed above.
Congratulations to Thorbrogger on the win, and thanks once again to Club Lucky for putting on a fabulous show. Be sure to visit their official website for much more on this tournament and other contests to look out for in the future.
