The Golden Tee tournament season kicks back into gear this weekend, and the fine folks at Power Events are taking their show on the road to Minnesota—the latest PEGT Tour stop.
Looking for a perfect getaway weekend? Nearby and want to watch some of the best and brightest duke it out? Like virtual golf, beer and good people? If so, the following could be of great importance.
The Minnesota Open will be played at Panino Brother in Eden Prairie, MN this weekend–August 20 through August 23.
The festivities will kick off Thursday with a double-elimination Closest-to-the-Pin contest. Entry into this event is just $10. On Friday, the focus will turn to the increasingly popular handicap contest: entry into this event, where you can win entry into the big tournament or more, is $25.
On Saturday, the main event will start at noon with the five-course qualifier to determine seeding. The top 32 players will be placed into the gold bracket, and everyone else will still compete in the purple bracket. The next day, a champion will be crowned when double-elimination match play gets underway.
