The Carolina Clash became a staple in the Golden Tee community long before if officially joined the National Golden Tee Tour started because of longtime player, Christopher Longino. Host's, Bill and Mike Muse or known to the community as the Muse Brothers, who own Calloway's Sports Bar & Grill and always bring a special something to this successful event! The past winners included Ryan McCook (2023), Andy Haas (2022), and Clint Grover (2021). Players will be competing not only for the title but also for an estimated $20,000 in total prizes.
We caught up with Longino and he gave us an exciting statement, “The Carolina Clash is unique. For the first time this year in a National Golden Tee Tour setting that players will compete on the new courses. The players will have only played the courses for a handful of weeks, and a lot of players will still be trying to figure things out. It adds another competitive layer to the tournament. This is year six of the Carolina Clash and it behaves and operates unlike any other experience in Golden Tee. Our commitment to a hospitable and fun experience at the Clash runs parallel with our commitment to the game. That's what will keep this tournament serving the Golden Tee community for years to come.”
