World Championship Qualifying 2027: Tour Mode
Home and Commercial Tour Event starts on Monday, October 26th!

The first wave of qualifying for the 2027 Golden Tee World Championship is kicking off on Monday, October, 26th. This year, qualifying begins with a 16 week Tour Mode season for both Commercial and Home Edition players. Every round you play, every point you earn, and every great shot that drops will move you one step closer to your World’s spot!

New this year, each week, players will take on ten games on the same featured course, with course conditions changing round to round. Your total score from your five best games determines your weekly placement, tour points, and payouts. The higher you finish, the more tour points you earn toward your season total.

Over the 16 week season, those tour points will add up to form your final ranking. Three elevated events during the run will offer 1.5x tour points, giving players even more reason to show up and play. End-of-season standings will decide not only the prize winners in each division, but also the group of players heading to the 2027 World Championship. If you qualify at both home and commercial, the home spot will be the spot that you take.

Tour Mode World Championship Spots

This first qualifying wave will send 65 Commercial players and 15 Home Edition players to the 2027 Golden Tee World Championship.

Here’s how the Commercial spots break down:

  • 50 spots from the Gold Division
  • 10 spots from the Silver Division
  • 5 spots from the Bronze Division

Home Edition players will compete for 15 total spots in their own Tour Mode season.

That’s 80 total players who will punch their tickets to the biggest event in Golden Tee. More qualifying details and additional ways to earn your way to Worlds will be announced soon.

The road to the 2027 Golden Tee World Championship begins Monday, October 26th, as two 16-week Tour seasons — one for Home Editions and one for Commercial games — kick off across the country.

WEEKLY CONTESTS

Each week, players can complete ten Tour games on that week’s designated course.

Conditions change every round, but all players face the same setup.

A player’s best five games combine into their weekly score, which determines rank and Tour Points. Great Shot Points break ties, followed by Golden Tee Points. Weekly payouts will mirror Events Mode.

Note: Players must have at least 30 total games played to compete in Tour Mode.

TOUR POINTS

Tour Points are earned based on weekly placement and accumulate over the season.

Three Elevated Events during the 16-week run will award 1.5x Tour Points.

Players will track their Global Tour Points totals as they climb the leaderboard toward Worlds qualification.

DIVISIONS & SEASON FINISH

Players compete in global weekly contests but are ranked seasonally within Gold, Silver, or Bronze divisions based on their Tour Points bracket.

End-of-season standings — with Great Shot Points and Golden Tee Points serving as tiebreakers — will determine not only Seasonal Prize winners in each division, but also determine a number of our World Championship qualifiers!
