Pat Summerall, the voice of Golden Tee Fore! as well as a longtime announcer for the NFL, died on Tuesday at the age of 82, as first reported by the Dallas Morning News.

Although many will never forget the 16 Super Bowls Summerall worked and his unforgettable influence on the NFL, he also had a huge impact on the game of Golden Tee.

Before there was Jim Nantz, there was Pat Summerall.

“At a time where Golden Tee was becoming the most popular arcade game in the country, Pat Summerall was the voice that narrated it all,” noted Golden Tee co-creator and course designer Jim Zielinski. “His contributions to the game were remarkable, and he was incredibly influential on the success of GT during this time.”
