It’s not every day you see a 416-yard hole-in-one. In fact, there are only a handful of aces that measure longer than the shot we saw on the opener of Bear Lodge.

Talk about a nice way to start the round.

There’s nothing gimmicky about this shot, although finding the proper cut and distance, of course, can be a challenge. You’ve undoubtedly come close to the green before—some of you have probably even reached—but you haven’t done something like this.

We saw a hole-in-one on the first hole at Cape Haven make our most recent Shots of the Week feature, and that early statement came from just over 385 yards. You can expect this one to get the same kind of deserved showcase, no doubt about it.
