If you’ve found the fairway bunkers on the3rd hole of Coconut Beach, you’ve probably been put in this pickle before.

The sand is actually tucked down below the ruin walls, which can make for an “interesting” shot into the green. By interesting, I mean you won’t have one. And if you’re too close to the wall, you’re probably going to have to layup on the par-5.

Or will you?

Although this shot doesn’t go in, this has to be one of my favorite attempts on 2013 thus far. If in doubt, turn around and look for the nearest wall. You have to absolutely love the creativity here, although there are no guarantees if you attempt the same shot.
