Be seen at The Orleans!
Let’s explore the host of the 2018 World Championship

The Orleans Hotel & Casino Showroom

We are exactly one month away from the 2018 Golden Tee World Championship!

Between Friday, June 8 and Sunday, June 10, sixty-four of the world’s best Golden Tee players will compete in Vegas for over $100,000 in prizes!

Keeping up in the recent spirit of holding the World Championship in Las Vegas, we have partnered with our new friends at Boyd Gaming to bring this year’s event to The Orleans Hotel & Casino, located about a mile off of the Las Vegas Strip.

The Orleans is a beautiful and large hotel and casino, boasting 135,000 square feet of gaming space, with its own movie theater, bowling center, spa and much more.

The World Championship is being held in The Orleans Showroom, an 850-seat theater, the perfect stage for our 10th Golden Tee World Championship event.

Sixteen brand new Golden Tee Showpiece cabinets will be lined up across the stage for three straight days of exciting GT action.  There will be plenty of space in the showroom for spectators, so we welcome all of our friends to join us in Las Vegas on June 8-10!

In case you need another reason or excuse to travel to Las Vegas, how about a chance to play in to the Golden Tee World Championship and your chance at the $20,000 top prize?

We kick things off with a Closest to the Pin contest on Friday, June 8, at 6pm PDT.  Anyone and everyone is eligible to play in the CTTP event for just a $25 entry fee (includes a GT World Championship t-shirt).  On top of over $3,000 in prizes on the line, we are also giving away the 64th qualifying spot in the World Championships to our CTTP winner!

If the first place winner of the CTTP event is already qualified for the World Championship, we will award the qualifying spot to next non-qualified player.

Once the fun of Friday night passes by and we finalize our 64 qualifiers, things will get serious on Saturday with a five-course qualifier to determine seeding. The five-course qualifer will be randomly selected out of the seven 2018 courses.  Yes, that means that Rattlesnake Ridge and Mystic Hills are eligible for qualifying.  This also means that all seven courses will be used for match play on Sunday.

And no, before you ask, our classic course of that week, Whispering Valley, will not eligible for match play. ;)

The top 32 qualifiers will end up in the gold bracket and the other 32 will end up in the silver bracket.  These players will battle in their respective brackets on Sunday to determine the 2018 Golden Tee World Champion.

Once Sunday hits, the competition between this crazy band of brothers will be as intense as its ever been while we work our way down from 64 players to the last man standing.

By late Sunday afternoon, the trackballs will stop spinning and we will have ourselves a 2018 Golden Tee World Champion.

Will 2017 World Champion Mark Stenmark successfully defend his title?  Or will another early-year hiatus from Golden Tee cause us to see a brand new Champion?

We will find out LIVE in Las Vegas, June 8-10.  We can’t wait to see all of our players out there for the event!
