It’s been a rollercoaster year on the National #GoldenTee tour. There have been historic moments, standout performances, shocking upsets, and for the GT community we know and love, a tragedy.  As many of you know, two time world champion Mark Stenmark passed away on September 26, 2023, and it shook this community to its core. A cascading outpour of fond memories and genuine love dedicated to the GOAT of GT followed his passing, and rightfully so.

       Mark Stenmark was truly one-of-a-kind. It is in the spirit of this response from the community as a whole, that Power Events unveiled the “Stenmark Cup.” A trophy that will not only serve as the crowning achievement for the player who wins the National GT Tour’s Player of the Year Tournament each year, but as a beacon to carry on the legacy of one of the greatest to ever touch a trackball.  RIP Mark Stenmark, you will be missed, but never forgotten, friend.
