Welcome to Week 2 of the Design-a-Hole finals! After hours upon hours of dissection, our prestigious DAH judges have narrowed a group of nearly 150 down to 10. One of the 10 finalists will become a playable hole in Golden Tee 2017! But before we get there, we need your help.
Over the final five business days, we will reveal the remaining finalists—one per day—and open up the floor for commentary and feedback. What did you really like? Which design would you like to play most? What do you wish was different? These comments will ultimately help our judges narrow the 10 finalists down to three and ultimately pick a winner!
So, once again, you are a very important piece to this portion of the contest. And if you missed last week's work, be sure to go back and check it out.
Without further delay, here is Finalist No. 7 (click to enlarge each image and read the description below):
Boulder Canyon (Par-4) by Brian Hill
Boulder Canyon is a drivable par 4 featuring two tee boxes carved high into the canyon wall. Depending on wind strength and direction riskier players may attempt to go for this green with a big right to left hook from the tees. Those who don't will shoot to a fairway below with multiple hazards which includes bunkers, trees (including an old dead tree in the middle) and a recent landslide of boulders making placement on this fairway crucial.
So... What do you think? Share your feedback below or on the Golden Tee Facebook Page!
