June Open: Celtic Bound
Recapping the Latest Week of the Callaway GT Home Edition Tour and Looking Ahead

The June Open—our inaugural voyage in Callaway’s Golden Tee Home Edition Tour—is halfway home. After stops on Sparkling Waters and Desert Valley, the action now turns to Celtic Shores.

Simply play 10 games on Celtic between now and Sunday night at midnight and you are eligible. The five players who have not already qualified for the finals with the highest average score of their Top 10 games will qualify for a final, one-game event that will be played on Rocky Hollow.

The remaining qualifying schedule is as follows.

June 15 – June 21: Celtic Shores

June 22 – June 28: Pearl Lagoon

Once 20 players have qualified, we will send out locked conditions cards to each participant. At that point, after each player has player their final game, we will award outstanding Callaway Golf prizes.

If you have not qualified or even tried to you, now is the time. You still have two full weeks to crack the Top 20.

As for last week, what a competition we had on Desert Valley. Seven players averaged greater than a -27 for the week, and once again the final spot came down to Total Great Shot Points—our June Open tiebreaker.

Brandon Becker was the top overall qualifier with a score of -28.1. Scott Petersen was second with a score of -27.8. Erik Nelson, Golden Tee Fan, finished third with a score of -27.7. And both David Neary and Brian Spisak rounded fired -27.6s, rounding out the top five.

Our five winners will now join our Week 1 winners and will pulled from all leaderboards moving forward.

What does this mean? It means that we have 10 spots to fill, and you should be getting your games in. And don’t forget, one lucky winner who qualifies each week—playing 10 or more games on all four stops—will win their own Golden Tee Home Edition 2016 update.

Yep, time to go play.
