Golden Tee Golf for Apple and Android devices launched in the United States on October 28th. Download it now on Apple and Android!
The first major update for the Golden Tee Caddy—GT’s player-centric mobile app—is fast approaching. There will be others to follow, with incredible plans taking shape, although we’ll have plenty of time to discuss and outline these changes when their time comes.
In the meantime, we have some super additions coming your way in the not-too-distant future. We assessed feedback many provided since the app launched on the iTunes and Google Play stores, focusing on what you were asking for.
And yes, because we can’t say it enough, there will be more to come.
For now, however, there is much to discuss when it comes to the latest update, which will be available shortly. We'll have a date soon. The new features coming to the GT Caddy are outlined below, and we begin with a ground-breaking addition that will change your LIVE player forever.
Download it for your iPhone or Andorid device first. THEN read about all the awesome stuff on the horizon.
Soon, you will be able to add funds to your Golden Tee Player Account through the GT Caddy.
How cool is that?
Want to avoid taking our your credit card—or cash—for each game? Want to load up for an upcoming night or tournament? You’ll have that option, and you’ll be able to select from a variety of different amounts to add at any time.
Seriously, how cool is that?
This is something that has been discussed for quite some time, and the app will soon make it possible. This secure way to manage your Golden Tee Wallet is coming your way, and we cannot wait for you to check it out.
This was another very popular request, especially as we garnered feedback before launch. The Course Caddy—not to be confused with the app itself, but the breakdown of every single Golden Tee Golf hole—will soon have its very own real estate on the app.
Struggling with a particular hole or course? Don’t sprint to a message board or call your friend for help; just pull out your GT Caddy and you will enjoy a comprehensive look at all 90 holes. This includes video of each shot, so you can some of the desired paths.
Check out the Course Caddy on LIVEWIRE if you haven’t yet, and get ready to see it on the app.
Let’s say you had a rough night out—you can fill in the blanks here, or at least try to—and you lost your Golden Tee Player Card. Or maybe that bad boy just cracked in half because of awesome, excessive usage. Or maybe you left it next to your phone and the whole magnet destruction happened.
Whatever the reason, we have you covered. The Golden Tee Caddy will allow you to a) reorder a new Player Card directly from the app b) change your information necessary to get you the card (like address) and c) check on the status of the card you had ordered.
You can still access your Lost Card ID at the home screen, but you want a card (and we want you to have a card). You’ll no longer need to sprint to the website to do so. Order it quick and easy from the Caddy, and we’ll get it to you in no time.
And yes, we’ve upped the ante when it comes to the Golden Tee World Ranking.
You’ll still be able to see your GT World Ranking at the home screen of the app. Now, however, you’ll also get a course-by-course breakdown of where you stand on the 2015 creations by clicking the small info icon next to the ranking.
Once you hit this area, you’ll see a pop-up screen of all five courses that are currently giving you your average. What course could really use a boost to improve your overall rank? The information is now just a click away.
It’s a small, subtle change, but one you clamored for.
This is only the beginning. Between now and the launch of Golden Tee 2016 there will be more updates. And there are more planned after that. If you have not downloaded the Golden Tee Caddy yet, now is the time to do so. We have so much in store, and it will change the way you play.
