Club Lucky’s Tournament of Champions should have no issue living up to its name.
The sixth installment of this special Golden Tee weekend has the players and the prize pool that make it must-see GT. And, thankfully, it returns this weekend and will take place October 17 through October 19.
The KCI-Expo Center in Kansas City will play host to the tournament yet again, which has been qualifying players for the better part of a year. Those who did qualify—which includes more than 40 players—will have a shot at winning a $7,500 top prize and a chunk of the $44,000 prize pool. No one will be walking away with less than $200.
With a top prize of this magnitude, you can expect the play to be both magnificent and tense. Some of the best players in the world will be in attendance, hoping to get a piece of this very appealing and lucrative pie.
The main event will include a five-course qualifier to determine the main bracket and seeding. From that point, the event will then into a double-elimination match play event. By Sunday evening, a Tournament of Champions champion will be crowned.
If you’re playing in the event, have a blast! If you’re not, you are more than welcome to stop by, learn some new shots on the 2015 courses and also participate. Club Lucky will be hosting a blind doubles tournament on Friday evening, and everyone is welcome to sign up and play.
Good luck to everyone competing and thanks to Club Lucky for putting on another wonderful event. We’ll have a full recap of the TOC next week; tune into Goldentee.com to see who won! Also be sure to visit Club Lucky's wesbite for more information.
