The Wisconsin Open is now just a few weeks away, but there’s still plenty of time to sign up for the event!
This year’s tournament will take place on March 23rd through the 25th at Sussex Bowl and Sports Bar in Sussex. Yes, March Madness will be in full swing, and if you’re curious how the combination of Golden Tee, basketball, wonderful food and beer meshes together, I can attest that it meshes quite well.
Festivities will get underway on Friday night with either a CTTP or scotch doubles tournament. Whatever they decide to run, entry will be cheap and there will also be other games available to practice on.
On Saturday, the qualifier for the main tournament will take place, and it will be anywhere from 3 to 5 courses depending on the amount of players participating. There will be one round of match play on Saturday evening, and then the tournament will conclude on Sunday with a champion.
March Madness will be on throughout this time, and you’ll have plenty to do even if you’re bracket is busted by then. Another nice element: entry into this event is only $60, which means this would be a great time to test out your skills if you’ve never played in a live event.
Did we mention the whole GT/basketball/food/alcohol thing? OK, good. This is a fantastic weekend you do not want to miss.
