We're halfway through December and that means that 2017 is almost over. There have been so many successful Golden Tee tournaments this year and we can't wait to see what the new year brings us.
With that being said, we'd like to share with you one of the major tournament schedules for the upcoming year: the 2018 Power Events' Golden Tee Tour
- Feb 8th through 11th – Florida Open - $5,000 Added @ Sidelines Sports Grill in St Cloud, Florida
- March 15th through 18th – Wisconsin Open - up to $10,000 added @ Sussex Bowl in Sussex, Wisconsin
- April 5th through 8th – St. Louis Open - $6,500 added @ Hot Shots Bar & Grill in St. Charles, Missouri
- August 23rd through 26th – Cincinnati - $5,000 added @ James Third Base in Mason, Ohio
- October 4th through 7th – NIV Sweet Sixteen - @ Baja Bean in Richmond, Virginia
- November 29th through December 2nd – Houston Holiday Classic - up to $10,000 added @ Jake's Sports Bar in Houston, Texas
One of the biggest changes you will notice is that the Wisconsin Open is now a part of the PEGT tour in March. Steve Sobel, Tournament Director of the PEGT tour explains the change "Milwaukee gives us the opportunity for a location with more added money for the players, bigger space and an owner that is a GT player himself. And yes, we will be continuing the WI Open tradition of having slabs and crabs on Sunday night."
With the Wisconsin Open now becoming a part of the PEGT and with the Golden Tee World Championship taking place in June of this year, the Chicago tournament has been taken off the schedule. "We want to thank Barb Letos for her years of support of the PEGT in the Chicago area. Hopefully the Chicago area players will make the short trip to Milwaukee to still join us this year."
We here at Incredible Technologies want to thank every player who has traveled to and played in a tournament this year, as well as the players and organizers who put together these wonderful events. This game would not be where it is today if it wasn't for all of you and the locations that host these tournaments.
If you have a tournament scheduled for 2018, please contact us with event details so we can add you to our tournament event calendar (that should be coming soon).
We hope you have a wonderful holiday season and we look forward to seeing you at an event next year!
