The 2017 Tournament Season Starts Now!
Power Events' Florida Open is Here, and You Still Have Time to Sign Up or Watch!

Golden Tee’s first tournament of the year is here.

For those who seek sunshine and Golden Tee and a weekend of fun, look no further than Power Events' 2017 Florida Open. It will run between Thursday and Sunday this weekend at Sidelines Sports Grill in St. Cloud, FL.

A live stream of the event is coming for those who cannot attend, courtesy of our friends at Golden Tee TV, but we hope you can make it.

The tournament weekend commences on Thursday, February 9 with a Closest-to-the-Pin event. The entry fee is $10 and this contest will be double-elimination.

On Friday, focus will shift to the handicap tournament, a night that has become increasingly popular in recent years. It will begin roughly at 7:30 p.m. and be single-elimination. Entry is $25, and you must have a valid GT handicap to enter.

The following day, the main event will begin at noon. All participants will take part in a five-course qualifier on the 2017 courses. The 32 players with the combined lowest scores will be placed into the main bracket. All other players will be thrown into the purple bracket. Double-elimination match play to decide the winners of both brackets will take place on Sunday.

By evening, the first Golden Tee tournament champions will be crowned. Tournament entry is $100. There is also the option to pay $20 to be included in the hole-in-one side pot.

Beyond the events, the Florida Open always has tremendous vibe: the weather, the people, the start of a new tournament year. Whatever the reason, it’s a must-attend.

And there is still time to play and sign up! Walkups are always welcomed! Visit pegttour.com for more information, and be sure to check back in over the weekend to watch the tournament action unfold!
