One of the grandest Golden Tee weekends of the year is now just a week away. Power Events’ Missouri Open will begin next Thursday, April 21 at Redbirds Sports Café in Hazelwood.
The three-day event has become one of the must-see tournaments of the year. The location is both inviting and familiar. The play is supreme—a weekend where some of the game’s best congregate for a prestigious title. And the camaraderie is really second to none.
Whether you head to Redbirds with your eyes set on the title or perhaps a few games and a few beers, reserve April 21 through April 24 and make the trip that will certainly be worth it.
It all starts Thursday night with two lead-up events. A Closest-to-the-Pin contest will take place at 7:30; entry into this event is just $10. And 90 minutes later, Power Events will host its first ever Money $hot event. Entry into this contest is just $15.
On Friday, the popular handicap tournament will take place, where many entries into the main event will be awarded. Entry into this is $25, and literally anyone with a Golden Tee handicap can win. It is the ultimate equalizer and an incredibly fun and popular evening.
The main event will kick off on Saturday with a five-course qualifier. Entry into the main event is $100. Each player participating will play all 2016 courses to determine the main bracket and seeding. The top 32 qualifiers will play in the gold bracket, although all players will participate in matches on Sunday. By Sunday night, a champion will be crowned.
If you’re ready to sign up, you can do so now. All players will receive a commemorative player card by playing in the main event. Entry is $100.
We will be there, and we hope to see you as well. Make your plans soon. The Missouri Open is approaching fast!
