Next Stop: The PCC
Be a Part of the Biggest Golden Tee Weekend of 2014

The biggest Golden Tee celebration of the year is now less than two months away. It’s a tournament, certainly, but the Players Charity Championship is much more than that.

It’s about the game, the magnificent people who play it and making a difference. The PCC IV—set to take place at Nero's Pizza & Pub in Algonquin, Illinois on Thursday, June 5 through Sunday, June 8—will continue this tradition.

Video Golfers for UnderDogs, Power Events Group and Incredible Technologies have teamed up to bring you a weekend for the ages. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the game you love, more than $25,000 in cash and prizes will be added to the 128-person field.

There’s so much to discuss that we couldn’t possibly fit it all in one place. The official Players Charity Championship website outlines what you can expect throughout the event, while our original posting on the weekend goes into detail what you can expect.

First and foremost, the PCC is about charity. In the case of the 2014 tournament, it’s about charities.

Starlight Children's Foundation, Nikolas Ritschel Foundation and Salute, Inc. were all voted as the benefit charities this year. All Money raised between now and the tournament weekend will go directly to these three charities. You can read up on each here.

To participate in the tournament, you must raise at least $400 for charity.

You've got time to do so and there are step-by-step instructions posted on the site to help you fundraise easily and painlessly. And not only will you be raising money for a good cause, you could benefit greatly from it. Those who finish in the top 10 in overall fundraising will be entered into a raffle, and one lucky person will walk with their very own Golden Tee Home Edition!

Interested? To get started, register for the event online here.

You’ll be asked to pay the $75 entry fee into the main event at that point. After doing so, you’ll be setup with your very own fundraising page. While there might be time before June 1, registration is open to the first 80 players who agree to raise money for charity.

Your entry isn’t just good for a spot in the biggest Golden Tee tournament of the year. There will be giveaways, door prizes, raffles, live entertainment, golf and other exciting events that will take place throughout the weekend.

The tournament is just the tip of the iceberg. The weekend—the celebration of the game you love and three deserving charities—are what it’s all about. Read all about the PCC and sign up before the spots fill up.

Can't play but want to donate? All help is greatly appreciated.

Stay tuned for so much more.
