What better way to celebrate the launch of Golden Tee 2014, then to do so with a tournament and a location with ample GT history.
Power Events’ Golden Tee Tour is headed to Richmond for The NIV (Not in Vegas) 11, the fifth of six stops it will make in 2013. The storied Baja Bean will play host to event on October 10-13, and the weekend will feature free food, FREE BEER and even a poker tournament.
This is not like every other tournament, and that’s what makes it so special.
The fun will get underway on Thursday, October 10 with a Closest to the Pin tournament. Entry into this double-elimination event is only $10, and Power Events will throw in $5 for each entry. On Friday, the popular handicap tournament will take place where anyone can win. The playing field is level in this single-elimination event, and the cost is just $25 to enter.
Also, there will be FREE BEER (all caps necessary) from 6 PM until close. This part’s important.
At noon on Saturday, the main event will begin with a five-course qualifier. Entry into this event is $125. The top 32 players with the best five-course score will advance to the championship bracket, and match play will begin on Sunday.
By Sunday evening, a new NIV champion will be crowned.
Looking to see how to play some of the trickier holes on the new courses? Are you a fan of awesome weekends in a lovely location? Do you enjoy free food and beer? If you answered yes to any or all of these—and goodness gracious you better have—then Richmond is where you need to be.
You can register for The NIV on Power Events’ official website, and all early signups will receive a free t-shirt at the event. The perks, at this point, are endless.
What are you waiting for? Book your trip to Richmond to celebrate a weekend of your favorite game.
