Jackson’s will play host to the tournament again, which will take place on August 15th through the18th. Weekend festivities will kick off with a Closest-to-the-Pin tournament on Thursday, and entry into the event is only $15. On Friday, the always-popular handicap tournament will be held, giving anyone—and I mean anyone—a fabulous chance to win prizes and entry into the main event.

Entry into the handicap event is just $25, and we can’t overstate how this has grown in popularity over the past year. Rub shoulders with some of the game’s best players with a level playing field; now that is tough to match.

On Saturday, the main event will get underway with a five-course qualifier to determine the championship bracket. Once complete, the top 32 players will be placed into this bracket, and match play will begin on Sunday. On Sunday evening, a Denver Open champion will be crowned.

And throughout the entire weekend, players will have the opportunity to give the five new courses in Golden Tee 2014 a spin. Barring any issues, a 2014 test game will be sent out for the weekend, and you will have the chance to get an early look at where you’ll be taking a spin this fall.
