After a fabulous stop in St. Louis, the Power Events Golden Tee Tour is heading north to Chicago.
More specifically, it will be heading to Gatsby’s Pizza and Pub in Arlington Heights on June 20 through June 23 for the 2013 Windy City Open. The third tournament stop of the 2013 season is a big one for those looking to pick up valuable PEGT Points.
For those of you looking to make it to your first GT tournament, this would be a great place to start as well.
The action kicks off on Thursday with a Closest-to-the-Pin tournament, which costs $10 to enter. On Friday, the popular handicap tournament will be played, and entry into this event is just $25.
Saturday is where the competition kicks into gear as the main event gets underway. This will begin with a five-course qualifier on Saturday, and the top 32 finishers will then be placed into the main bracket. On Sunday, bracket play will begin and the 2013 Windy City Open Champion will be crowned later on that day.
Don’t miss out on a summer celebration of Golden Tee. We’ll be there—after all, it’s right now the road—and we hope to see you there as well.
Register for the event on Power Events’ official website, although you don’t have to sign up ahead of time to play. Walkups are always welcome, as are those of you who simply want to see some of the game’s best duke it out over a beer or two. On top of this, Power Events will be live-stream matches for those who can’t make it.
We’ll have much more on this event as it approaches, and June 20 will be here before you know it.
