As we enter the final month of 2012, we’re seeing some ridiculous scores shot on Golden Tee 2013.
November was a banner month when it came to big scores on the Golden Tee World Rankings, and the top of the leaderboard—specifically, the very top—reached a point we never thought possible.
Houston native Mark Stenmark knows the top of the leaderboard well, but he outdid himself this time. Stenmark’s five-course average throughout the month was a jaw-dropping -30.20. This effort included three (not a typo) -31s and two -29s.
The rest of the top five was as follows, and the scores were as strong as we’ve ever seen. Missouri’s Evan Gossett finished second with an average score of -29.20 followed by Minnesota native Chris Thorbrogger (-29.00), Chicago’s Graig Kinzler (-28.80) and Illinois trackballer Jeff Lannen (-28.80).
What a month it was, although we've already turned the page.
The final month of the year is underway, and we’ll be recapping the full year of Golden Tee World Rankings in the early part of January. Have you gotten your ranking yet?
It’s easy. Simply play each Golden Tee 2013 once in a given month, and you’ll be on the leaderboard. Your best score on that course will be counted and the online leaderboard will update to reflect these changes daily.
Good luck, and tune back in for the year in review.
