The Carolina Clash was the first National Golden Tee Tour showcasing the new 2025 courses, offering players challenging new landscapes. This marked the first major test for competitors using the newly favored Cosmos balls, which may replace the previously dominant Stouts/Breeze balls. Top players, including Andy Haas, Orlando Ayala, and Ryan McCook, all favored the Cosmos for their strong performances. Over $25,000 in prize money was awarded, further solidifying the Carolina Clash as another highlight of the National Golden Tee Tour.

Andy Haas emerged as the Main Bracket champion, securing his second Carolina Clash victory (his first was in 2022). Haas was the King of the Hill and beat Orlando Ayala in both the finals and the King of the Hill match. This marks Andy Haas’ third National Golden Tee Tour win this year!

Mark Gomez, the defending World Champion, finished in the 5th/6th position, proving that even the best players faced stiff competition with the new 2025 courses. In the Purple Bracket, Mike Arrington claimed the title by defeating the up and coming Bryce Aubart. With this Purple Bracket win, Arrington punches his ticket to the 2025 Golden Tee World Championship. Aubart, who is the youngest player ever to win a Purple Bracket, didn’t make it easy for Arrington to win by putting up two well fought matches in the final.

In other brackets, Jeff Sixeas took the Pink Bracket by overcoming Richard Swindell, while Kevin O’Connor was victorious in the Seniors Bracket, defeating Lee Chepenik. The tournament’s top qualifier, Adam Harris, posted an impressive -141 and racked up 85,962 Great Shot Points, including a -30 on Sahara Dunes.

Reflecting on past champions, the event continues its legacy long before becoming an official stop on the National Golden Tee Tour. Previous winners include Mark Stenmark (2019), Adam Ashley (2020), Clint Grover (2021), Andy Haas (2022), and Ryan McCook (2023), with Haas now securing his second victory.

The Carolina Clash is a highlight due to the dedication of Chris Longino and the outstanding team led by Bill and Mike Muse at Calloway's Sports Bar & Grill. Be sure to heck out all of the great photos taken by Richard King of Golden Tee TV here.
