Don't Miss the Missouri Open This Weekend at Redbirds!

What a weekend this is shaping up to be.

The 2015 Missouri Open—which might be the largest Golden Tee tournament of the year—is nearly upon us. And you absolutely, positively do not want to miss it.

Power Events’ second stop will take place at Redbirds Sports Café in Hazelwood, Missouri on April 23 through April 26. With a robust signup list filled with outstanding players, this is shaping up to be a magnificent GT gathering.

It kicks off this Thursday with a Closest-to-the-Pin Contest. The focus will turn to the handicap contest on Friday, which has become one the weekend's most popular times. Anyone—and I mean anyone—has a chance to win.

On Saturday the main event will get underway with a five-course qualifier. Once each player has played all five 2015 courses, the Top 32 will be placed in the main bracket. Everyone else will still be able to compete for prizes in other brackets.

Translation: Even if you don’t make the top 32, you’ll still win.

Match play will be double elimination. Once the main bracket has played out, a champion will be crowned on Sunday evening. Entry into the main event is $100 and there will be a $20 hole-in-one side pot option. Entry into the CTTP contest will be $10, and entry into the handicap contest will be $25.

Interested in playing? Although walkups are always welcomed, visit Power Events’ website to secure your spot in the event.

Can't attend? Bummer. Have no fear, however, we have something for you as well. A live stream of the action will be posted throughout the weekend, which will allow you to watch some of the most intense action from your home. We will post the stream on Goldentee.com; it will also be accessible on PEGTtour.com.

We'll be there and we hope you will be as well. You do not want to miss it.
