Don't Miss The Florida Open
Power Events’ First Stop is Coming in Early February; See You at BackStage Billiards

With snow consuming much of the conversation this time of year, one can’t help but intrigued with the prospects of going somewhere warm. Let’s take that one step further: What if you could go somewhere warm and also enjoy the first Golden Tee tournament of the year?

If this all sounds good to you—and it does for us, clearly, because we’re going—than Power Events’ Florida Open is a must. Best of all, it’s closing in fast.

BackStage Billiards in Orlando will play host once again on Thursday, February 5 through Sunday, February 8. It will be action, sun, Golden Tee, beer and food-packed, which is why you should sign up for the event if you haven’t already.

The weekend will commence with a Closest-to-the-Pin tournament on Thursday night. On Friday, the popular handicap tournament will take place, where anyone—of any skill level—can win.

Saturday will include qualifying for the main event. Each registered player will play all five courses. The top 32 players with the best overall scores will then be thrown into the main bracket. On Sunday, match play will begin and the first champion of the year will be crowned later that day.

If you’ve never attended a Power Events tournament before, make this your first. The PEGT Tour is incredibly well run, and the weekend is much more than just one giant tournament. It's a celebration of the people, the location and the game.

For more information on this event and the five other stops on the calendar this year, visit PEGTtour.com.

Ready to sign up? You can do that here. Also, if you’re in need of a hotel close to the bar, you can easily track one down.

The tournament will be here before you know it. We hope to see you all in Orlando.
