Frustrating, fascinating, maddening, satisfying and obtainable.
These words—along with a few four-letter ones you can fill in for yourself—come to mind when you think about Hole 2 on Pelican Grove.
This par-4, as you likely know by now, can be driven. It will take a shot through the trees—likely a driver, a high tee and a little luck—but it can be done. It has been done, and we’ve seen a handful of quality holes-in-one on this design before. But our latest ace is, without question, the best yet.
Enter: Chicago’s Graig Kinzler, Golden Tee World Champion.
Not only does Kinz make it through the trees, but he’s decided to up the difficulty ante with a nice little hop over the bunker. The result is a lovely little one, a wonderful start to the round and a Shot of the Week.
