It’s not the longest hole, but the elevation—along with that vicious rough—makes Hole 5 at Highland Links an interesting, sometimes drivable par-4.

As we only recently learned, you can do more than drive this green.

It’s going to take favorable conditions and an even better bounce to make this possible, but it is possible. The always entertaining, glove wearing, Twitter using and eccentric Danny “Dannyboy” Beall accomplished this, hurdling the massive bunker guarding the front and hitting the hole with force.
