There are no hidden paths to the green on Pelican Grove No. 2. There are ways to get there, as we’ve seen, but finding a workable route through the trees can be easier said than done. Taking such unconventional approaches can also come with a different outcome, one that takes eagle and birdie out of the equation altogether.

But if you plan your shot out just right—as we see below—there is a way to make the most of this hole. Birdie works just fine, sure, but what about the scenario where you want something more.

Trees will almost certainly come into play, but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible. Behold the first ace (that we know of) on Pelican No. 2.
