In the past, the Missouri Open has garnered the reputation of being one of the best attended events of the year. It would seem that 2012 will be no exception.

Power Events’ Golden Tee Tour is back in business, and Redbirds Sports Café and Billiards in Hazelwood will play host to the event for the first time this weekend. More than 100 players have preregistered for the tournament, and Power Events has added more than $5,000 into the prize pool.

The game’s best will be in attendance eyeing a piece of these payouts and so will we (well, not the prizes but you get the picture). GT is on the road this weekend to cover the event, and we’ll be using the Golden Tee Blog as the hub to recap live matches and results. We’ll also be using the Golden Tee Facebook and Twitter pages to share pictures, qualifying info and match results.

And that’s not all. Power Events will be streaming live matches as they happen, which should be fantastic if you can’t join us in Mizzou. We’ll provide links and access to these matches once we get the info.
