The Highest Grossing Coin-Op Game of All Time Earns Prestigious Accolade in its 35th Year.
After 35 years as “everyone’s favorite arcade golf game,” Golden Tee Golf has been honored with another incredible distinction.
Golden Tee Golf has been selected as one 2024’s American Amusement Machine Association’s Amusement Industry Hall of Fame inductees. It joins the ranks of icons in the amusement industry including Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Incredible Technologies co-founders Elaine Hodgson and Richard Ditton.
“Standing shoulder to shoulder with the greats of our industry is an honor. Our sincere gratitude goes out to the AAMA and their recognition of a game and history that we’re really proud of,” Adam Kramer, President of the Amusement division at Incredible Technologies said. “It’s always been a labor of love, and the staying power of Golden Tee is a testament to the unwavering passion that goes into making something great.”
Founded in March of 2023, the AAMA Hall of Fame was “established to recognize and honor individuals and entities that made outstanding contributions to the coin-op and location-based entertainment industry”. From the original 1989 release of Golden Tee Golf, to its most recent iteration in Golden Tee PGA TOUR, the series has more than proven itself as a mainstay of the amusement industry.
