It was a year unlike any in the game’s history—a collection of courses that showcased the full range of virtual-golfing difficulty. On one end, there was lovable, wildly score-able Bonnie Moor. On the other, the game-testing, curse-inducing Black Hills.
This year, 2008, which was actually the year Golden Tee 2009, provided some of the greatest depth the game has ever seen.
And to celebrate its brilliance, its uniqueness and, at times, it’s challenging ways, we’ve mixed these holes together in one unforgettable #freakyfriday.
This Friday, January 20, play the 2008 Scrambler on the Daily Contest between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. central time. Play this course as many times as you wish, honing in on winds and pins, mastering life on Woodland Farm, avoiding disaster on top of Mount Rushmore.
It will be fun and different and at times very difficult. It will be worth your time, we can promise that.
Don’t believe us? Here is a six-holes preview showcasing just what’s in store.
