Golden Tee Golf for Apple and Android devices launched in the United States on October 28th. Download it now on Apple and Android!
We are now officially less than a month away from Power Events’ next tournament stop, which means it’s time to plan accordingly.
More specifically, it’s time to make arrangements to take part in the Windy City Open on Thursday, June 23 through Sunday, June 26 at Gatsby’s Pizza and Pub in Arlington Heights, Illinois. You do not want to miss it.
The location and arrangement should be familiar. Gatsby’s has been a lovely host in past years, and they will certainly do the same in 2016.
The latest stop on the PEGT Tour is yet another chance to a) watch some of the game’s best duke it out b) compete in the festivities yourself and c) come by, play a few games and learn more about Golden Tee in one weekend than you have in your trackball life.
The festivities will commence on Thursday night with both a Closest-to-the-Pin and Money $hot tournament. Entry into the CTTP event is $10; entry into the Money $hot tourney is $15.
Friday night will be all about the handicap event, where anyone has a chance to win and gain entry into Saturday’s main event. Entry into the handicap tournament is $25. On Saturday, the Windy City Open will begin around noon central with a five-course qualifier to determine the main bracket and seeding.
The top 32 players will be placed in the Championship Bracket. All other participants will still be placed in the Purple Bracket. The following day, double-elimination match play will play out. By late afternoon or early evening, the latest PEGT Tour champion will be crowned. Entry into the main event is $100.
Whether you play in one of the events of the whole gauntlet, we’d love to see you at Gatsby’s next month. You can sign up for the event on PEGTtour.com or walk up the day of if you like.
Regardless of what you do, join us at Gatsby’s for a little Golden Tee and a beer of two.
