There is no closing hole quite like No. 18 on Laurel Park. You know this hole, or at least you should by now. It’s a drivable par-5 that can equal ecstasy and disappointment—give you a chance at a super albatross or an opportunity to dive into your bad for another ball. No matter how the previous 17 holes have gone, it can all change in an instance.

That is what’s in store today for a special installment of the Daily Contest Throwback Thursday. We’re off to Laurel Park to experience what virtual golf is really like in lovely Paris.

Between now and midnight central, you can play Laurel as many times as you please in the Daily Contest. You will be given the same conditions—winds, pin and setup—meaning you can hone in on the looks as many times as it takes.

The top 400 finishers will walk away winners. At 12:01 a.m., a new course will take over the spotlight. Next Thursday, we will do this all over again with a new vintage location.
