Texas Holiday Classic Closes 2025 GT Tour
The 2025 National Tour ends with four days of Golden Tee, prizes, and the crowning of a new Player of the Year.

Golden Tee players from across the country will make their way to O’Sheas Bar & Grill in Hurst, Texas from Thursday, December 4th. through Sunday, December 7th. This stop marks the final event of the 2025 National Golden Tee Tour, as the National Golden Tee Tour closes out the season with the Dallas Holiday Classic and the Top Gun and Lil Gun POTY tournament.

The Holiday Classic is one of the biggest weekends of the year in Golden Tee, where the players battle it out for more than $50,000 in prize money and two shots at a pass to the 2026 Golden Tee World Championship in Las Vegas! With the year-end Top Gun and Lil Gun tournaments also taking place, this weekend is where champions are crowned, and rivalries keep going.

Just like every stop on the National Golden Tee Tour, the Texas event has its own traditions that make it stand out. The main event is the Holiday Classic, but Sunday is where things reach another level with the Top Gun and Lil Gun Finals. These tournaments bring together the top 64 players from the National Golden Tee Tour standings. The top 32 compete in the Top Gun bracket, while players ranked 33 through 64 face off in the Lil Gun bracket. The Big Gun winner will take home some hefty prize money and the title of Player of the Year while the Lil Gun winner pockets won’t be empty and they will get their ticket to the 2026 Golden Tee World Championship. Both tournaments are free to enter for those who qualify, and every shot counts toward closing out the season in style.

The weekend kicks off Thursday night with a Closest to the Pin contest at 7:30 p.m., featuring $750 added to the prize pool. On Friday, the action continues with the Blind Draw Doubles tournament at noon. Players will compete on classic courses, with $5 from each entry going to the Play More Give Back charity. Later that evening, at 7:30 p.m., the Handicap Tournament begins. This event levels the playing field using each player’s Golden Tee handicap and serves as a satellite qualifier for the main event.

Saturday is when the Holiday Classic truly gets underway. Players will take on five different 2026 courses, with the top 32 advancing to Sunday’s Main Bracket. Everyone else continues in the Purple Bracket, Pink Bracket, or Copper Bracket ensuring that all competitors stay in the mix. Players will play a minimum of 2 rounds of the double elimination bracket Saturday night for both Main & Purple, Pink & Copper Brackets. There will be no doubles tournament on Saturday night.

Sunday morning continues with the Purple, Pink, and Copper brackets at 11 a.m., followed by the Main bracket beginning at 12 p.m. Once each bracket is crowned with a winner and the Purple Bracket winner gets their ticket to the 2026 Golden Tee World Championship, we’ll move onto to the Player of the Year tournament. The Top Gun and Lil Gun Finals will start at approximately 4:30 p.m. Prepare for a long day of Golden Tee!

For players and fans, the Dallas Holiday Classic is a celebration of Golden Tee competition and community. It’s where a year’s worth of effort, travel, and friendly battles come together for one unforgettable weekend.
