Golden Tee competition is at an all-time high. The level of talent across this year’s field is extraordinary. This may be the most competitive lineup we’ve seen. Fan favorites and veterans like Graig Kinzler and Andy Haas (each with two World titles), and Paul Luna (2022 World Champ), are joined by defending World Champ Mark Gomez, Paul Tayloe (2023 World Champ), Evan Gossett (2018 World Champ) Jeff Lannen ('25 Wisconsin Open Champ).
They’ll be battling it out with other elite players like Edward Godfrey ('23 Worlds Runner-up) Joe Massara ('25 Florida Open Champ), Christopher Wengler ('24 Missouri Open Champ), and a 19-year-old qualifier Bryce Aubart ('25 Florida Open Runner-up) all of whom can have deep runs in Worlds. Every match is going to count, and every player will need to be at their very best!

Thousands of players across the country have taken a shot at qualifying this year. We offer several paths to Worlds, from tournament wins to online qualifiers. Purple Bracket winners on the National Golden Tee Tour and the Women’s Tournament Champion in Florida each earn spots.
The majority of players earned their place by grinding through three months of qualifying on commercial machines, where they had to play at least 30 rounds on the 2025 courses and accumulate their best average score. Each month, the top 20 players with the best averages secured their invites. Home Edition qualifiers had a similar path, with two months of competition and the top 9 from each month advancing. In non-prize play states, the top 2 players from April made the cut. We also awarded a golden ticket to the top Money Shot player on May 2, 2025, and added five players through the Final Call qualifier on locked condition courses.
And we’re not quite done. We’ll round out the final field with one more last chance qualifier in Las Vegas. The Closest to the Pin tournament winners will take the final spots, completing the field of 96 competitors. It all becomes official the night before arcade qualifying kicks off on Saturday, July 19, 2025!
