Keller, Texas – December 5th-8th, 2024 – Golden Tee players and fans are in for an end of the year treat! The Dallas Holiday Classic and Top Gun/Lil Gun Year-End Events are scheduled to take place at Legends Sports Bar & Billiards in Keller, Texas. As the most anticipated stop on the National Golden Tee Tour and a prize pool of more than $40,000, this marks the thrilling conclusion on the 2024 Golden Tee calendar. There is an estimated 150+ players expected to compete and many more to attend!
Players have battled all year long across five major events, earning points in the pursuit of being crowned the Golden Tee Player of the Year. This year-end series promises to deliver high action gameplay as the Top 32 players on the tour will face off in a double-elimination bracket for the title. The last three champions highlight the level of skill required to win this competition, with Joe Massara claiming the title in 2023 and Andy Haas in 2022, and Joe Massara again in 2021.
The weekend’s festivities also include the Holiday Classic Event, which will play a crucial role in determining the final Top Gun/Lil Gun standings, as points earned will directly influence leaderboard positions. Following the Holiday Classic, the finals for both Top Gun and Lil Gun will unfold on Sunday, December 8th, and will conclude with the crowning of the Golden Tee Player of the Year.
Special Events:
Top Gun (Player of the Year): The top 32 players of the National Golden Tee Tour will compete in a seeded, double-elimination bracket, with points earned throughout the year determining their seeding.
Lil Gun (Player of the Year): The Lil Gun Tournament, featuring a single-elimination format, will also take place, offering intense matchups for players ranked 33rd to 64th. The winner of this will receive a greatly earned pass to the 2025 Golden Tee World Championship.
Purple Bracket Prize: The winner of the Purple Bracket will receive a coveted pass to the 2025 Golden Tee World Championship, a prize that will undoubtedly attract highly competitive matches.
Event Schedule:
Closest to the Pin – Thursday, December 5th @ 7:30 PM Compete in a double-elimination Closest to the Pin tournament, with $500 added to the prize pool. The players will face off in a best two-out-of-three format.
Blind Draw Doubles – Friday, December 6th @ 12:00 PM Players will be paired randomly in Blind Draw Doubles, with 'A' and 'B' players competing together. Matches will be played on Classic Courses, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Play More Get Better charity.
Handicap Tournament – Friday, December 6th @ 7:30 PM This handicapped match-play tournament allows players to test their skills in a single-elimination format.
Main Event Qualifying – Saturday, December 7th @ 11:00 AM The weekend’s marquee event features $7,500 added to the prize pool, with potential for up to $11,000 added based on player turnout. Players will compete in a 5-course qualifier for the chance to advance to the Main Bracket, with top 32 qualifiers earning a spot in Sunday’s finals.
Main Event Bracket Play – Saturday, December 7th (After qualifying) | Resumes Sunday, December 8th @ 10:00 AM The top 32 players from Saturday’s Main Event will battle for greatness, while remaining competitors will compete in the Purple, Pink, and Copper Brackets. The winner of the Purple Bracket will receive a pass to the 2025 Golden Tee World Championship.
Top Gun/Lil Gun Finals – Sunday, December 8th @ 4:30 PM (Subject to change) Players will compete in a seeded, double-elimination bracket and single-elimination format, with points earned throughout the year determining their seeding. The winner of the Lil Gun finals will receive a pass to the 2025 Golden Tee World Championship.

At the Carolina Clash which took place in October, was the fifth stop of the National Golden Tee Tour and first stop featuring the 2025 courses. The tournament also showcased the new Cosmos balls, which many top competitors favored over the previously dominant Stouts/Breeze balls. Andy Haas claimed his second Clash title, defeating Orlando Ayala in both the King of the Hill match and the finals. The Dallas Holiday Classic has long been the crown jewel of the National Golden Tee Tour—a year-end bash where the best players gather for one last epic showdown.
