With new courses off in the distance, the urge to play new Golden Tee creations is growing. We will get there, slowly but surely. And as we wait, perhaps we can go back in time—way, way back—to find something original.
Many of you, as strange as it might seem, have probably never seen or played the original LIVE creations. And if you fall into this grouping, this week’s Daily Contest Throwback Thursday is up your alley.
We’re headed to Heather Pointe, one of the game’s most storied stops. Hole 17 is perhaps the most known obstacle ever created—a short par-3 that is teetering off a cliff, drenched in wind and the critical point of most rounds.
Between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. you can play Heather as many times as you please on the Daily Contest. Hone in on winds and pins; master the look. Your best score will count during this time.
The top 400 players will walk away with cash prizes, per usual. The following week, we will do the whole thing over again in a new location.
Enjoy an old, fresh look at a course that was around at the beginning. See you on Heather Pointe.
