Welcome to Golden Tee’s latest tournament stop. Power Events’ Windy City Open is here.

The latest PEGT Tour event will kick off on Thursday, June 23 and run through Sunday, June 26 at Gatsby’s Pizza and Pub in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Some of the world’s best players will be in attendance, hoping to bring home a rather prestigious title.

While they’ll have their eyes on the main event, there’s much more to this weekend than that. The festivities will commence Thursday evening with Closest-to-the-Pin and Money $hot tournaments.

Entry into the CTTP event is $10; entry into the Money $hot tourney is $15.

Focus will shift to the popular handicap tournament on Friday night, where players will be able to win entry fee into Saturday’s tournament and more. Anyone can win, and entry is only $25.

On Saturday, the Windy City Open’s main event will begin at noon central with a five-course qualifier to determine main bracket and seeding. Once the qualifier is complete, the brackets will be set and match play will begin the next day.

By Sunday evening, a Windy City Open champion will be crowned. Not only will the winner receive a mighty cash prize, but Orca Coolers has thrown in a $400 cooler as well that will be given to the champion!   

Everyone is encouraged to make their way to Gatsby’s, a location that has served as a wonderful host over the years. Walkups are welcomed. Play in one event; play in them all. Come by, have a beer and watch if you like.
