The Daily Contest has already undergone massive change for the better. On January 15, it will enjoy yet another.

You’ve already enjoyed a handful of the 2014 courses being sprinkled in the rotation. Have you ever. The first contest on Pelican Grove was one of our biggest Daily turnouts thus far, and the attendance on Sunday for Highland Links was one of the bigger Sunday turnouts since the feature launched. You’ll continue to see these courses thrown into the mix—upping the Daily repertoire to 10.

But that’s not all.

Starting on January 15, the Daily Contest will celebrate Throwback Thursdays. Although we’ve enjoyed brief stops on Bonnie Moor and Rustic Bridge, we’ll turn the focus to a vintage creation one day each week.

We’ll reveal the highlighted course at the start of the week. And then on Thursday, the Daily Contest will be open for ol’ school business. If you never played these courses learning the game, you’re in for a treat. And if it’s been a while since you enjoyed some of the best courses Jim Zielinski ever made, we’ll send you back.

The name of the game we’ll be the exact same: Play as many games as you’d like on the same conditions between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. Your best score will then be shown on the Daily Contest Online Leaderboard and also on the GT Caddy.
