As the temperatures rise, the action on the virtual alleys is about to do the same.
Starting in June, Silver Strike Bowling: League Night, Incredible Technologies’ latest game, will launch its first-ever monthly bowling contest. And, with the help and support of Storm Bowling, one of the world’s leading bowling ball manufacturers, the contests will bring the game and real bowling even closer together.
“From the very beginning, Storm was excited to be a critical piece of these monthly contests as part of its robust partnership and integration with Incredible Technologies,” President of Amusement Division Adam Kramer said. “Now, players can use Storm bowling balls in the Silver Strike game and win actual equipment each and every month.”
The festivities will commence with the June Strike Frenzy—a month-long contest that will run from midnight central June 1 to 11:59 PM central time June 30. During this time, Incredible Technologies will use its Score IT contest software to track the number of strikes thrown from each bowler throughout June.
Keeping the contest simple and straightforward, the parameters are simple: the players with the most strikes will win.
The prizes for June are as follows:
1st Place: Tropical Surge Teal-Blue Storm Bowling Ball & $250 IT Gift Card
2nd Place: Storm T-shirt, Storm Hat, & $150 IT Gift Card
3rd Place: Storm T-Shirt, Storm Tumbler & $100 IT Gift Card
4th Place: Storm T-Shirt, Storm Koozie and a $75 IT Gift Card
5th-10th Place: $50 IT Gift Card
For IT to properly track and award prizes, all players must identify themselves with an individual player account and play in online play modes.
Total Pin Points, League Night’s new point system awarded on strikes and spares, will serve as the tiebreaker in the instance that multiple players accumulate the same number of strikes throughout the month. Players must complete all ten frames of their games in order for their strikes to count in the contest.
Leaderboards will be posted regularly on Incredible Technologies’ websites and social media channels. Silver Strike Bowling: League Night cabinets will also display leaderboards later in the month.
Players must be at least 18 years old to claim prizes. Players competing on games in the state of Arizona are not eligible to participate in this contest.
