Golden Tee players from across the Midwest and beyond are heading to Funny Bone for the Missouri Open, taking place April 30th through May 3rd. As another key stop on the National Golden Tee Tour, the weekend features a World Championship berth opportunity, an estimated $25,000 prize pool, four days of competition, and the last national tournament before the 2026 Golden Tee World Championship in Las Vegas. The St. Louis area has some of the strongest talent in Golden Tee, local turnout is highly expected, and traveling players making their way in will make this stop another highly competitive weekend!

The weekend kicks off early with a Thursday night Closest to the Pin contest starting at 7:30 p.m. There is a $20 entry fee and an additional $5 per player added to the prize pool by Power Events.
Friday afternoon at 12 p.m. brings the Blind Draw Doubles tournament, pairing “A” and “B” players in a double-elimination format on classic courses. Entry is $35 per person, with $5 from each entry supporting PMGB charity efforts.
Friday night at 7:30 p.m. shifts to the Handicap Tournament, a single-elimination match play event based on each player’s Golden Tee handicap. With a $30 entry fee, it gives you the chance for a free path into Saturday’s qualifying.

The Missouri Open Main Event truly begins on Saturday with a five-course qualifier beginning at 11:00 a.m., played across five of nine randomly selected courses. With $8,500 added to the prize pool, the stakes are significant as players battle to finish inside the top 32 and advance to Sunday’s Championship Bracket. Those outside the cut will still find themselves in meaningful competition, placed into the Purple, Pink, or Copper Brackets.
Saturday night continues the action with another Blind Draw Doubles tournament at 7:30 p.m., this time played on current courses. Adjustments may be made depending on participation and timing.

Sunday is for Championship play! Brackets begin at 11:00 a.m. for the Purple, Pink, and Copper divisions, followed by the Main Championship Bracket at noon. All brackets will be played in a double-elimination format, ensuring every player has a path to fight back. The winner of the Purple Bracket will earn a pass to the 2027 Golden Tee World Championship, adding another layer of importance to every match on Sunday.

The Main bracket delivered a showdown as Paul Luna carried momentum from a key win over Andy Haas into the finals, where he defeated Paul Tayloe -29 to -26 on Kings Canyon. Tayloe earned second place after an impressive run through a tough field that included Jeff Lannen and Nate Webb. Luna’s victory marks a strong bounce-back after 2025 and positions both finalists as serious threats heading into the 2026 World Championship.
In the Purple bracket, Jim Klomparens claimed the title by narrowly defeating Chad Hart -28 to -27 in the finals. Klomparens’ win, in his return after several years away, earns him a spot in the 2027 World Championship.
The Pink bracket saw Aung Moe deliver a consistent performance to defeat Travis Tressler -25 to -21 in the finals. Moe’s win secures his first National Golden Tee Tour bracket title.
