"Nestled below the equator exists an ancient world you’ve only seen in pictures—architectural marvels that have transcended generations and withstood the test of time. This magnificent region goes by many designations. Some know it as the Lost City of the Incas; others know it simply as Machu Picchu, which is the name that has taken hold. The flat terraces (or “andes”) that blanket the course were once used as agricultural elixirs to navigate tricky terrain. Now, these fragments of earth provide a slew of obstructions and landing areas, making strategy a must. With towering mountains in the backdrop, this place serves as a time capsule of what was and what could be."
