"If you have come in search of culture, look no further. The town of El Malpais, which translates to badlands in Spanish, is overflowing with rugged beauty. While we don’t normally consider the central part of New Mexico a haven for the sport, that sentiment is about to change. Adobe structures are littered throughout, serving as both guides and obstructions. The same can be said about the massive cacti, which can be a thorn in any tee shot. On occasion, you might also cross paths with a tumbleweed every now and then. All these elements give Acoma Mesa a sort of Western vibe, which is not like any you’ve seen before. Sure, Golden Tee is not without its desert courses. But rarely have they come to life quite like this."
