The time is now, friends. For the last 16 years, we've tasked you, the players, with the creation of your dream GT hole. You've never failed to amaze us with your incredibly creative and thoughtful designs, as evidenced by this year's tenth through second place finishers...but there can only be one.
One design has earned its place in the annals of Golden Tee history becoming a part of the next release of the game.
One design has earned its creator their very own Golden Tee PGA TOUR Home Edition, and legendary status among their peers.
- Design-a-Hole 2025 WINNER - "The Chasm" by Jason Thomason -
We are extremely pleased to announce our FIRST PLACE WINNER of this year's Design-A-Hole competition, Jason Thomason!
Congratulations to Jason Thomason and his course 'The Chasm' for taking home this year's big win. If you recognize this man's name, well, you should. Jason was a DAH winner TWELVE years ago with The Ancient Ruins. So it looks like he's getting a Home Edition upgrade!
We look forward to seeing Jason's design come to life in 2025 when it is welcomed into the Golden Tee course catalog.
There were so many amazing entries to this year's competition and we appreciate everyone who showcased their creativity by submitting their designs.
Par-4 or even 5 with elevated tee boxes to a green nestled against a Cliffside (Potential Par-5 from additional future tee boxes)
Measures anywhere from 180-320 yards from tee to green with tree-lined hills, cliffs, main river in the chasm, with waterfall cascading to the ocean/sea below.. and last but not least one lonely pot bunker guarding the middle left of the green. Bunker can either cut off a good shot coming in or save a bounce off the jagged cliff bordering the right side of the green if overcooked.
Green slope left 6 and down 3 from left tee box. Adjust accordingly for approaches from either bottom fairway or far fairway above the green. (Green size medium was the thought.. scale in the pic exaggerated to show potential pin positions, lol).
Intent is for a variety of challenging shots over and/or through tree and hill gaps regardless of approach. Especially depending on wind, tee boxes, and hole position.
