The Florida Open is officially underway at Sidelines Sports Grill in St. Cloud, Florida, marking the first stop of the 2026 National Golden Tee Tour. Players from across the country have gathered for a full weekend of high-level competition, community, and championship implications as the Golden Tee season kicks into gear.
The action got started Thursday night with a Closest to the Pin contest, drawing 45 players and setting the tone for the weekend. After a tight battle of precision and nerves, the results shook out as follows:

Players will take on five randomly selected GT 2026 courses, including newly added entries to the course carousel. The top 32 players will advance to Sunday’s Championship Bracket, while the remaining field continues competing in the Purple, Pink, and potentially Copper Brackets.
Saturday night wraps up with another Blind Draw Doubles tournament at 7:30 p.m., this time played on current courses. Like all National Golden Tee Tour events, Saturday night doubles is always to be determined and often delivers some of the weekend’s most memorable moments.

Winners of both the Purple Bracket and Women’s Bracket will earn World Championship entries.
