Starting Monday, November 3, Golden Tee 2015’s Daily Contest is upping the ante once again.
Forget about the top 300 players walking away winners; The top 400 finishers will now walk away with a cash prize each and every day.
The overall payoffs you’ve grown accustomed to over the past few weeks will not change, and the theme and structure of the contest will stay the same: Between midnight and 11:59 p.m. you’ll have unlimited chances to post your best score on the course chosen at random that day, operating on the same conditions.
Your best score will then be featured on the Daily Contest Leaderboard, which should be a familiar landing spot by now. The only difference, however, is that the guaranteed prize pool will now be $1,100 rather than $1,000. As play increases, so will the prize payouts.
The updated starting Daily Contest payouts are as follows:
1st: $100
2nd: $60
3rd: $50
4th: $30
5th: $25
6th-10th: $17
11th-20th: $12
21th-30th: $8
31th-50th: $5
51th-75th: $4
76th-100th: $2
101th-400th: $1
If you’ve been oh so close to cashing but come up just short, be sure to give the Daily Contest a try on Monday. Adding another 100 payouts gives more players a chance to cash each and every day, which is a significant step for growing the contest in the short and long-term.
And, in other Golden Tee news, King of the Hill—2015’s exciting new offline feature—will now reset every month rather than every week starting on Tuesday. The reason for this change is pretty simple: We want to stretch out the competition on each course, and in order to do so, we’re increasing the time you have to a) be king or b) knock off the current king.
