Power Events’ Missouri Open is Now Less Than a Week Away; Reserve Your Spot!

One of the biggest Golden Tee tournaments of the year is now just a week away, and you do not want to miss it.

Power Events’ Missouri Open will take place on April 10-13—Masters weekend—at Redbirds Sports Café in Hazelwood. What better way to celebrate the best golf weekend of the year… by enjoying the action over a solid serving of Tee, good food, good drinks and good people.

The Missouri Open is always the best attended tournaments of the year, and 2014 appears to be keeping this tradition in order. Whether you’re looking for some pointers or trying to take home the title for the various events that will be played throughout the weekend, this is an event worth checking out.

On Thursday, April 10 the event will kick off with a Closest-to-the-Pin Contest at 7:30 p.m. Entry into this event is just $10. The focus will then turn to the popular handicap tournament on Friday evening, where everyone—regardless of what you shoot—has a chance to win. Entry into this event is $25.

The focus will shift to the main event on Saturday.

Qualifying will take place at noon, and all five 2014 courses will be played top determine seeding. The top 32 players with the highest qualifying score will be placed into the main bracket, while all other participants will play in the purple bracket.

On Sunday, match play will begin and the Missouri Open champion will be crowned early that evening. Entry into the main event is $100, and there’s also a $20 hole-in-one pot available. With this entry, you’ll also receive a special Golden Tee Player Card exclusive to participants (seen above).

For information on hotels and other tournament details, check out the official tournament thread on the Golden Blab. Ready to sign up? You can secure your spot on PEGTtour.com. If you’re not sure you can make it but still have an interest in playing, have no fear. Walk-ins are always welcomed.

And if you can’t make it, Power Events still has you covered. The live stream will be up and running throughout the weekend—both on Goldentee.com and PEGTtour.com—broadcasting some of the biggest matches. While this is a solid way to enjoy Golden Tee, nothing beats being there in person.

We hope to see you there.
