Oh brother. Welcome to the most critical hole of your round. The 17th might be the toughest par-3 in 2010 and some looks will have you scratching your head on what to play. One thing is certain, getting wet is never a good thing and finding the green or even the bunker should prevent the potential blow up. Play smart and don't try and be a hero here. With different tee boxes and looks, you'll be forced to be very creative in your shot making. Try and do what you can to avoid bogey, even if it means playing for a three rather than a two. Using spin will depend on a variety of items, and be sure to take into account the elevation of the green for that given shot. If you're going to stroke limit a hole on this course, there's a good chance it'll be the 17th. I'm not saying you're going to do this; I just want everyone to understand how important it is to play smart here.
