Hole 8 is a par-5 that requires a near perfect drive if you're going to reach the green in two. While hitting your ball in the fairway is certainly an option, this will take getting an eagle out of the equation – barring a miraculous hole out. Instead, you should aim for one of the green islands surrounded by the ginormous sand trap just right of the fairway. To clarify, it's the 3rd from the front and it's tucked between the two canyons. While you'll still have a long shot in, you don't have to worry about any dangerous hazards. And if you missed the landing area with your first shot, don't fret! Even if you ended up in the sand, you should have a good opportunity to scramble for birdie by chipping on the area and going for the green. While eagle is far from a given, you can be aggressive on this hole and put yourself in a position for a three which is always a good thing.
